Athletics day

Athletics dayYippee!! It’s athletics day , but I can’t do it because my foot hurts a little. It hurts every time I run. I did’nt do athletics Iwent around and started helping people. The teachers were Miss Paton, Mr Johnston, Miss Sayers, Middleston, Mrs Prasad. The sports were Jump jam, Shotput, Discuss, High jump.

At last it started the 10 to 11 year olds did jump jam, and the 8 to 9 did high jump, the 6 to7 did discuss and sprints. The 5 year olds did shotput. Michael and I watched high jump Silas came first, Jacob 2nd and Faitele came third. I went to go watch a little bit of jump jam. I walked around asking people if they help, we went over to shotput my job was to collect all the softballs. Then I went over to the sprints they did’nt need any help so I left. Thank god it’s morning tea time, I had my pringles and a box drink.

There’s the bell that means we have to start again. Michael w and I watched jump jam for the whole time . We were in there for like 30 minutes then it got boring. Then we walked out and looked around we watched a littlebit high jump. Now it is the 400 meter race, I don’t know who came first. Now athletics is finshed then we had a lunch.

Museum trip

“Yippee”!!! Rooms 5, 6, 7 and 8 are going to the exciting museum. We got to the museum on a bus. Our class was put in groups. In my group was Jarred, Cody N, Addnan and Jacob. Our caregiver was Jarred’s and Cody’s dad Craig.

At last we are here, once we got there we all had morning tea. We had this question sheet where we had to answer questions around the museum. First we looked in this room where it had old dresses, plates, bowls, seats and masks. Then we went to this room. I saw a starfish and a big crayfish. There was a big seagull and other birds. I saw a big kauri tree. Our group went in this volcano room. There was a little house in the volcano room. There was a big screen showing steam coming out of the sea. It started coming closer “Boom, boom, boom”!!! It blew up. I walked out and went to this big statue of Zeus. Wow!!! Cody took a picture of the incredible Zeus. I’m hungry.

Yes we are going to have lunch. We had little game of tag. We went back in the museum and looked around. We saw lot's of statues and bits and pieces. Then we went back to school.
